Many women make the difficult choice to forgo their hard-earned careers just so their children are not raised by nannies and daycares. The hardest job in the world is being a stay-at-home mom. In the blink of an eye, they will be grown - and you will look back on this time as SO rewarding, SUCH a blessing!

What if you did not have to give up that Most Important Quality Time with your kids? Wouldn't it be a breath of fresh air to make your own money again? Hurrah, thanks to the Internet, anything is possible!!

There are many ways for moms to be a part of the workforce via the Online Community. You can still drive your kids to soccer practice or make dinner while the baby naps; you have the Freedom to work when YOU want. If you organize your time wisely, you can be the momtrepreneur you’ve always wanted to be through your home-based business!

Blogging. Multi-Level Marketing (MLM). Telecommuting. Responding to emails for online businesses. Online mystery shopping. Advertising. UTubing. Generating traffic for affiliate marketers.

Representing direct sales. Freelance writing. Social Networking. The various online business ventures available for stay-at-home moms are endless. But, how do you know if you’re choosing the right one?

Talk to people. There is an amazing ''family'' of connected folks in the online community. You might want tostart out by doing some research before deciding to start a home-based business, or as a rep for a direct sales marketing company; if you’re chosen company is legitimate, it will appear on search engines. The next step is to track down people who’ve had experiences with the same company; again, you should be able to do so without a hitch -if the company is for real.

Make sure the sign-up fee (if there is one) isn’t too big. Anything exceeding four hundred dollars should be considered suspect. Granted, companies have to protect themselves by not giving away start-up packages to everyone out there, so a small fee may be justifiable. Nonetheless, go with your instinct – if it seems phony, it probably is.

Are you prepared to kiss a few frogs. You probably didn’t marry the first man you ever went on a date with. If you have had a career, you most likely did not stick with that same job the entire time. OR, maybe you found the right guy first thing -- and this certainly CAN happen for you.... But, be prepared to try a couple different online ventures before you find the one that is right for you. Just be cautious in how much time you put into any particular venture until you feel confident about it.

Finally, be realistic. You won’t make millions overnight - and if you think you will, get out now. An online home-based business is simple to start, but does take some time and patience. Setting aside time each day to develop your home business will take some diligent work. Your online business will be work, just as most everything is life is work.

You will be ''punching your own time clock'' so to speak, but YOU will be the boss and setting your own hours! What if you could spend 5-15 productive hours each week on your home business, instead of 40 hours at a job. Working from home can feel very safe and comforting!

If you keep the above steps in mind, you will likely see success in the world of online home-based businesses. Who knows what great things could happen if you worked at it really hard? You just might be the one putting food on that kitchen table. Start your home-based business today.
